As the competition is ONLINE this year, things will run a little differently. The rounds will be tested using Zoom (https://zoom.us/download), so please make sure you have access to this during the event. Additionally, we strongly recommend that you have access to another online communication platform in order to privately communicate with your team of 4 throughout the event, such as Facebook Messenger, Discord, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, Google Hangouts, Skype, etc.

The Physiology Mentorship Program is offered to undergraduate students looking to gain knowledge about graduate school within the Department of Physiology at The University of Toronto. Undergraduate students will be assigned to an MSc or PhD student to help with graduate school applications, choosing their interests, and reaching out to supervisors. Seminars about available programs and building a competitive application will additionally be hosted by graduate coordinators and faculty members.

PhysioMP Mentorship Program

We are currently accepting applications from current University of Toronto Physiology undergraduate students to join the ?????????? ?????????? ??????? (????????)!This program pairs mentors (3rd-year and above enrolled in a PSL program of study for over a year) with mentees (new incoming or prospective PSL students). The mentor will support the mentee with all aspects of the Physiology program by giving advice on topics such as departmental requirements, campus opportunities, and lifestyle balances. This program encourages mentors to strengthen their leadership and communication skills, share their experiences with others, and develop a sense of community within the Department of Physiology. Both mentors & mentees will receive Co-Curricular Record (CCR) recognition upon completion of the program.
???????????: Applicants must be Physiology undergraduate students with good academic standing.
????????????: Each mentor will be paired with 1 โ 2 mentees, and must commit to communicating with their mentee(s) in-person or via email throughout the year (minimum commitment of 3 โ 5 hours/semester per mentee), and attend the Mentorship Foundations training sessions. Mentors & mentees will also attend UPSA-hosted events (minimum one per semester).
